Well the Nats are in the history books folks! A big congratulations to everybody that participated and of course a big thank you is in order I think especially to all the guys from Rosslyn Aero Modelers that again proved they just have what it takes to host an event of this caliber. The catering was something to experience and the general vibe throughout the event was magical. Thanks to all the organisers, the score keeper, the judges and everyone that just came out to provide support. You all made a very memorable event possible!
Then I reckon a HUGE congratulations is in order for our new South African F3C champion, the youngster (If memory serves he is only 16/17 now) Jason Welsh. Excellent work my friend!
The competition in the F3C class is really coming alive now and we hope we can see more new faces coming to the challenge in the near future. The standard is most certainly going up and it seems like the real battle for the top spots are heating up. South Africa is quickly getting back into the swings of things when it comes to helicopter aerobatics competition.
Now my attempt at posting the results:

The above are all of course normalised scores, I have the raw scores here but it becomes a little too much info. The normalised scores from my experience doesn't always truly reflect what happened during the competition especially with so few competitors, it really only starts working IMHO with 30 or more pilots in a single class but ok that's something for a whole different discussion.
I have some pictures at home I'll try to get posted when I have some spare time.
Cheers,
Spacey
