Noob wanne fly Rc heli
« on: May 12, 2010, 11:45:57 AM »
Good day guys.

So I am a brand new Rc heli fan, after going to a few rc heli shows I just love it.
I stay in Vereeniging am 28yrs old.

I will get the phoenix sim at the end of this month to practice on
I just want to know what good heli must I get on not too big budget
I saw like one a Flight blade 400 that comes with the Spectrum dx6 at
Clownshobbies.
Should I go for that to start learning on or are the parts for it not good
When I crash the heli, or what should I be looking at like a trex 450 with
A dx7 to start off with?
Any how I want to have one day a trex 600\700 when I am better at flying heli’s.

Have a fab Day

Welcome to the addiction!
My advise is doesn’t matter what first heli you choose, only that support and parts must be quick and easy available. Maybe find a similar heli that people around you fly’s and is happy with. Start small and learn one thing at a time and before you know it that 600/700 will be in your budget plans ( ha ha )

I will start off small, think I am going to get the hk 500gt to begin on, cheap and parts as well for
It is not too bad, one thing is this a good heli, here is the link to it
http://www.wifly.co.za/Default.aspx?tabid=37&CategoryID=131&List=1&Level=1&ProductID=1745

and then for me to get a spectrum dx7 radio good or what else should I look at as I want it to last me long??

Does any 1 know where in Gauteng I can go buy the phoenix flight sim?

Thanks Again.
