Charge up to 80 % of mAh and store in cold( +/_ 18 deg C) dark place.
Had a Lipo stand for 4 months.
A good charger will have a store charge function.
Why you go to NZ? If space left in suitcase, I fold up small :-)

The problem is that they will be on a container ship which could get really hot...hopefully not hijacked.

You might fold up small but I would have to throw out a heli or two and that wont happen ;)

Maybe try putting them into something like LiPo safe bags, if they fire proof maybe they keep them cool, or in polistirene box.

Or

You could leave the LiPo's with me ;D

Or

Strap them with tape around your waste......... OK bad idea ::)

If I were you I'd much rather just charge them to storage conditions and EMS them in a box to my boet. I wouldn't dare risk having those things anywhere near my most precious belongs for two months on a ship.

You can if you want? Although I can't guarentee I'll put it back in the mail if it comes back. No worry about that however, EMS delivers.

Sent them via EMS as you suggested but here is a link of why I did not want them anywhere near me
