Where to buy
« on: October 14, 2008, 05:48:31 AM »
Hey everyone,

First time here, so not sure where to do what yet, but very awesome to see all the RC fans.

Anywho,
I have a HoneyBee CP2, and I'm desperately looking for spares for my heli.
Being a tad on the difficult side to fly, I have had one or two  :P unwanted :P surprises while trying to get this thing up.

I'm in the East Rand, Gauteng area, and was wondering where I can get spare parts, without too much hassle, for the Heli.

Any Idea?

Thanks in advance

Thank you for the reply Steve...

I'll give them a try for sure...

After about a year now, I dragged the HoneyBee out of the dust, cleaned it out a bit, and started it up...
Symptoms:

When I hit full throttle, the motor spins at speed, but the rotor and blades only turn slowly (and with slowly i mean slower than normal).

Could this be the motor... or shaft?

There's no damage to the gear located at the bottom of the Heli that I can see, and that seems to spin at speed, but still the blades rotate slowly.

can you disengage the motor and see how it spins up?
